The official answer is NO. They have been tested by anti-virus softwares & running since 2004.Ive been playing over four years and there was not a day I would get a virus.

No but u lagg alot an mostly crash but other than that no virus an besides if imvu does have virus my antivirus blocks it as soon as it sees it...... :D

The only thing the IMVU application does is lag a bit and perhaps slow down your computer but virus infected? Nooo. If you have a virus, its because you didnt download the program from the website or you already had one. Imvu is definitely safe otherwise.

no i ave never gotten a virus from imvu,ive never even thought about it either imvu is a awesome kool site to be apart of,meeting new people,playing walkoff is simple divine and shopping for new and exciting items makes it seems so real,when im on imvu it makes me feel like im in a whole new world where the possibilities are endless,! imvu is a awesome site and i would recommend it to anyone who want to get away from the usual pressure of the real world even if its just for a few hours,imvu100%
